The Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine continues its Rachmaninov cycle with a performance of Symphonic Dances. Composed in New York in 1940, this three-movement work serves as a musical testament, featuring the composer's signature irony, folklore references, and lush lyrical string sections. The program also features Korngold's Violin Concerto, described by the author as written for a "Caruso of the violin," and Sofia Avramidou's Oenoe.

The program takes place on February 4, 2027, at The Auditorium Bordeaux, located at 8-13 Cours Georges Clemenceau.
Conductor Michael Francis leads the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, featuring violin soloist Simone Lamsma.
