Cinemanita and Fiber Factory at De Nieuwe Anita Amsterdam
A homegrown, underground electronic night.
A weekly Monday night series featuring a film screening hosted and programmed by Jeffrey Babcock, combined with a textile art club. Every week for the last 19 years, Anita has presented Cinemanita, offering a mix of classic and contemporary cinema. Fiber Factory is a weekly textile art club where participants can use donated yarn to create pieces. Experienced crafters are available to guide beginners, and inspiration books are provided. Participation and wool are free; needles and pens are available to borrow. After the movie, the night continues with music by a different DJ every week.
