The show imagines the fascinating backstory of Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West, characters from L. Frank Baum’s ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’. It reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely university friends on their journey to becoming iconic figures. With music and lyrics by legendary composer Stephen Schwartz, the production is based on Gregory Maguire's acclaimed novel. It has won over 100 major international awards, including three Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, and a Grammy Award. The production is already the 10th longest-running West End show in British history.
