Jokko Collective, an Afro-descendant collective based in Barcelona, presents an exclusive creation exploring the humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean through the perspective of Pasaporteman (Baba Sy). Using voice, field recordings, and spoken word, the performance gives voice to the invisible victims of migration tragedies, contrasting the silence of the sea with the cacophony of political debate. Noa and ohjeelo present their sensitive sound and poetry performance 'Kobosana Te', exploring maternal memory and Afro-diasporic narratives as fragmentary archives. The piece serves as a collective space for shared healing and transmission.
