The 25th Annual Newark Arts Festival opens with a celebration across all three floors of Express Newark, featuring the debut of the signature group exhibition On Purpose. The evening includes open artist studios, interactive installations, and live musical performances by Stefon Harris & Blackout, D. Cross, and Charissa the Violin Diva, along with DJ sets and a separately ticketed talk featuring guest curator Bisa Butler and Salamishah Tillet.
