Best known as the former keyboardist and singer for the Coalminers, Arthur Lea blends eclectic rhythm and blues with southern soul. A Royal Academy of Music graduate, Lea has performed at prestigious venues like Ronnie Scott’s and the Olympic Stadium, collaborating with artists ranging from Kylie Minogue to Kate Tempest. Now based in the US, Lea returns to the 606 stage with his Bootleg Trio, which features Chris Barrett on tuba and Pat Levett on drums and harmonica. His work has earned acclaim from The Guardian and Jazz FM, with critics noting his impressive showmanship and songwriting.
