Mystery Jets are an English alternative and indie-rock band formed in 2004, originally hailing from Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, London. The group is well-known for their second studio album, Twenty One, and has undergone several lineup changes since their early days practicing in a boat shed. Over their career, the band has moved through various musical styles, influenced by the melodies of Hall and Oates and the experimentalism of Pink Floyd. After finding success with early singles and their debut album Making Dens, they gained widespread critical acclaim with Twenty One and subsequent releases like Serotonin and Radlands, the latter of which was recorded in Texas.
