MERGE all night long: Rrose
An underground, queer dub techno night.
For MERGE’s first ever all night long, we’ve invited Rrose, an artist who has had an immense impact on the project’s evolution. Taking inspiration from Marcel Duchamp’s androgynous alter ego Rrose Sélavy, the performance brings a spirit of ambiguity into techno, using rhythm, texture, resonance, and gradual shifts in intensity to treat the dancefloor as a space for transformation. Merge is a Brooklyn-based, queer party that aims to cultivate sonic liminoid experiences through techno music with zero tolerance for harassment.
