A special programme dedicated to the traditional Japanese shinobue transverse flute, presented by the Czech-Japanese Society and the National Gallery in Prague. Renowned Japanese musician Yasukazu Kano opens with a public musical performance in the foyer of Salm Palace, followed by a lecture and musical demonstration exploring the history, development, playing techniques, and contemporary world-music expressions of the instrument.
