Godsmack is an American alternative metal and hard rock band from Lawrence, Massachusetts. Formed in 1995 by frontman Sully Erna, the group's current lineup includes bassist Robbie Merrill, guitarist Tony Rombola, and drummer Shannon Larkin. After signing with Universal/Republic Records in 1998, they achieved multi-platinum success with hits like "Vampire," which earned a Grammy nomination. Known for their powerful live performances, the band often features a unique dueling drum sequence between Erna and Larkin. Over their multi-decade career, they have headlined major festivals such as Mayhem and toured extensively with icons like Metallica and Staind.
