Slavic Soul Party! delivers fiery Balkan brass, throbbing funk grooves, Roma accordion wizardry, and virtuoso jazz chops. Brash and strong as slivovitz, these nine musicians have forged a virtuosic new brass band music in the heart of New York City. For over 18 years, they have held their Tuesday night residency, creating a destination for locals and brass band fans from around the globe. The ensemble features John Carlson and Kenny Warren on trumpet, Peter Hess on sax and clarinet, Peter Stan on accordion, Tim Vaughn and Adam Dotson on trombone, Ken Bentley on tuba, and Matt Moran and Chris Stromquist on percussion.
