A danceable, high-energy ska punk night.
King Prawn blend elements of punk, hardcore, metal, ska, dub, reggae, and hip hop into their music, which they dub wildstyle. Since their formation in 1993, they have been subject to critical acclaim and were nominated for the Best New British Band category at the Kerrang! Awards in 1998, and then again under the Spirit of Independence category in 2000. After reforming in 2012, the band expanded to a 7-piece lineup featuring a brass section and keyboards, continuing their tradition of high-energy performances that bridge diverse musical styles from hardcore to traditional 2 Tone ska.
