Thee Sinseers are not just a nostalgic 'oldies' act. Led by multi-instrumentalist Joey Quiñones, the eleven-piece formation from East Los Angeles has been pushing the boundaries of R&B and soul since 2019. Their new album Love Stories, released on Colemine Records, presents a layered portrait of love that brings the raw romance of the sixties into the present. Inspired by the cinematic dynamics of their hometown, the group explores human connections from familial bonds to unrequited desires. The album operates as a collective 'painting' enhanced by warm analog sounds and sophisticated arrangements by Skip Heller, paying tribute to 'souldie' culture.
