Byzantium in Café Zasekávák! or A Different Side of Byzantium
A nostalgic, underground greek folk night.
As part of the Archaion Kallos Orthodox Music Festival, this special concert explores folk music from historical regions of the Byzantine Empire. Cypriot vocalist Angelika Christodoulou joins the Althaia Ensemble to perform traditional Greek and Mediterranean songs originating from Cyprus, Crete, the Aegean islands, and Asia Minor.
