A raw alternative rock night.
The Dresden Dolls are an über-dynamic duo comprising Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione. Formed in the mid-2000s, they combine the smoky atmosphere of Weimar-era cabaret with the rock 'n' roll fury of artists like Joan Jett and PJ Harvey. Their music features confessional story-songs with raw, tragicomic lyrics, driven by a thunderous, shimmering piano style and percussion influenced by jazz and hardcore. After a period of solo success for Palmer, the duo reunited in 2018 to resurrect their signature sound.
