Broken By The Scream (BBTS), formed in 2017, is a Japan-based metal screaming idol act that fuses extreme metal with idol performance aesthetics. Blending ferocious growls and high-intensity screams with crystal-clear melodic vocals, the group delivers a truly unique sonic identity. Their technically driven band sound combined with aggressive choreography has continuously made a strong impact on heavy music scenes both in Japan and internationally. Following a successful 2025 European tour and the release of their album Solar Strain, the band officially signed with Metal Blade Records in 2026. Their appearance at Bitterzoet marks a major step in their expansion into the European circuit, bringing their rare fusion of idol culture and extreme music to Amsterdam.
