Learn the foundations of ukulele through guided practice of chords, rhythm, and song. Rooted in a diasporic history of migration and cultural exchange, this instrument carries sound shaped through adaptation and creativity. The workshop explores music as a collective form of connection and expression. Instructor Xochitl Palomera is an educator, herbalist, and culture bearer whose work focuses on ancestral healing. As an artist and community organizer, she aims to reclaim and maintain traditional cultural arts and relationships with the land.

The sessions meet every Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colectivo Cihuateotl Centro Cultural located at 4100 City Terrace Drive in Los Angeles.
