Armenian-born pianist and composer Tigran Hamasyan is celebrated as one of the most remarkable and singular artists of his generation. Having won the Montreux Jazz Festival piano competition before reaching adulthood, he has since built a prolific career with labels like Nonesuch and Naïve. His recent works, including 'The Bird of a Thousand Voices' and 'Manifeste', delve into rhythmic energy and transcendence, creating a borderless musical language that bridges minimalism, electronic sounds, and folklore.
