This July, London welcomes Shakir Khan, one of the most talented sitar players of the younger generation, for an evening of Indian classical music. He is joined by the Manchester-based tabla virtuoso Ustad Shahbaz Hussain as part of the London Ragas series. Shakir Khan represents the Etawah Gharana musical tradition, following the path of his father, the sitar maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan. Together, these acclaimed musicians bring the rich heritage and intricate magic of their instruments to the Royal Wharf Community Dock.
