An underground, slow-burn experimental night.
ISSUE Project Room and Franklin Furnace celebrate their respective anniversaries with an evening of performance and conversation. The program coincides with the release of the book "Back to the Present: 50 Years of Free Expression with Franklin Furnace," edited by Martha Wilson. The event features a collaborative performance by Jean Carla Rodea and Arantxa Araujo, exploring multidisciplinary and socio-political themes. Following the performance, a conversation between Martha Wilson and Bradley Eros will reflect on fifty years of alternative cultural spaces and live art practice. This program is presented as part of the 2026 Brooklyn Book Festival.
