South African harmonica player, pianist and educator Adam Glasser is an international specialist in township jazz and chromatic harmonica. As one of the few remaining veteran UK-based exponents of the genre, he toured and recorded with Dudu Pukwana in the mid-80s and served as musical director for the legendary SA vocal group The Manhattan Brothers for 16 years. His distinguished career includes performances with Hugh Masekela and contributions to Abdullah Ibrahim’s album The Balance.
