An underground, slow-burn sound art night.
Danya Pilchen and Jasna Veličković invite you to GROND to meet, listen, and discuss their work. For this event, Danya will prepare an improvisatory work highlighting the relationship between perceptions of space and time through acoustic feedback and field recordings. Jasna will present insights from her project 'The Art of Coil', which explores electromagnetic phenomena as compositional material using her invented instrument, the Velicon. The evening aims to plant seeds for future possibilities through sound and conversation. Danya Pilchen is a composer based in The Hague interested in the human experience of time, while Jasna Veličković is an Amsterdam-based composer who has researched magnetic fields as a sound source since 2008.
