An underground, homegrown contemporary classical night.
In honor of the centennial of American composer Morton Feldman, the New York-based BlackBox Ensemble performs a program centered on time and perception. The evening features Feldman's early chamber work Four Songs to E.E. Cummings, Projection 2, and I Met Heine on the Rue Fürstenberg. The ensemble will also premiere an excerpt of Ania Vu's chamber opera Through the Doors alongside spatial communication of dripstone by Kai Kubota-Enright.
