Αφιερωμένη στην ιστορία του ρεμπέτικου τραγουδιού, από τις ρίζες του στη Σμύρνη και τον Πειραιά, η παράσταση ξυπνά μνήμες και θύμησες από μια αξέχαστη εποχή που σημαδεύει την κουλτούρα του λαού και του τόπου μας. Η πορεία του ρεμπέτικου ξεδιπλώνεται επί σκηνής και μας οδηγεί μέχρι τη σύγχρονη ελληνική μουσική σκηνή. Αγαπημένες ερμηνείες και μια συγκινητική διαδρομή με την στεντόρεια φωνή του ερμηνευτή, Νίκου Γραίγου, την ξεχωριστή και σπάνια φωνή της Σωτηρίας Αγγέλου και την αφήγηση της σπουδαίας ηθοποιού, Ναταλίας Δραγούμη.
