Pennywise is a long-standing punk-rock and skate-punk collective from California, known for their politically-motivated lyrics and hard-hitting rhythms. Formed in 1988, the band took their name from the monster in Stephen King's novel 'It'. Over their decades-long career, they have released 11 studio albums and become a raw, distinctive force in the alternative scene, influencing numerous other bands and maintaining a dedicated global following through their passionate live performances and moral advocacy.
