WITCH stands for We Intend To Cause Havoc. These pioneers of Zamrock, a fusion of African polyrhythms and English psychedelia, released the first commercial record in Zambia back in 1972. After disbanding within a decade, the group returned in 2017 with original singer Emmanuel ‘Jagari’ Chanda. As the only remaining original member, Chanda performs alongside guest musicians to revive the unique sounds of Zamrock for modern audiences.
