Mezzo-soprano Stéphanie d'Oustrac joins the Ensemble Amarillis for a program exploring the theme of madness in Baroque opera. Far from just a concept, madness often appears as a character in its own right, disrupting order and fueling brilliant musical moments. This performance features a mix of virtuous and extravagant works by composers such as Haendel, Purcell, and Marais, bringing the baroque era to life through period instruments. Part of the 'Folia' highlight, this event is preceded by a lecture on February 11 at the Grand-Théâtre.
