Pansy Division

A queer, nostalgic queercore night.

96-98 Pentonville Rd, London N1 9JB, UK

Pansy Division is a gay pop-punk band formed in San Francisco in 1991. While there have always been gay musicians in rock history, Pansy Division were among the first to be boldly and openly expressive about it from their inception. Founded by guitarist/singer Jon Ginoli and bassist/vocalist Chris Freeman with the specific goal of forming a gay rock group, the band was later joined by drummer Luis Illades and guitarist Joel Reader.
