An evening of experimental songwriting and eclectic sounds featuring three distinct solo projects. Slashed Tires, the avant-funk endeavor of Kenneth M. Piekarski, pairs danceable grooves with lyrical meditations on modern alienation. Duchess, led by Ridgewood multi-instrumentalist Victor Florence, blends intimate bedroom pop with adventurous guitar textures. NYC singer-songwriter Gwen Frost opens the night with layered collages of sampled soundscapes, vocals, and multi-instrumental compositions.
