Formed in 2020 in Dearborn, Michigan, Prostitute is an experimental post-punk and Arab rock band. The group delivers a sound that is both abrasive and hypnotic, featuring an unrelenting blend of warped guitars, primitive basslines, and corrosive synthesizers. Their music is interwoven with samples from diverse cultures, ranging from African to Middle Eastern and East Asian influences, shaped in collaboration with engineer Chris Koltay.
