Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals

Ben Harper is a singer and songwriter from California who began his career in the early 90s. Heavily influenced by blues legends like Taj Mahal and the slide guitar of Robert Johnson, his sound also integrates reggae, funk, soul, and folk. He formed his primary backing band, The Innocent Criminals, in 1997, and together they achieved mainstream success throughout the late 90s and 2000s. After a hiatus working with other ensembles like Relentless7, Harper reunited with The Innocent Criminals in 2015 for extensive worldwide touring. A three-time Grammy Award winner, Harper is recognized for his diverse musical style and virtuosic multi-instrumental abilities.
