Hailing from New York City, Interpol emerged in 1997 as a leading force in the post-punk revival. Over two decades since their landmark debut "Turn On The Bright Lights," the group maintains a reputation for atmospheric and sharp indie rock that resonates with both critics and fans. Currently composed of Paul Banks, Sam Fogarino, and Daniel Kessler, the band has successfully navigated lineup changes and evolving musical landscapes. They are known for a collaborative songwriting process where every member contributes to their signature icy, edgy sound, most recently showcased on their high-charting album "El Pintor."
