Jean Rondeau concludes his Wigmore Hall Residency with an immersion in the music of Louis Couperin. Known as a player of deep personality and profound musical intelligence, Rondeau explores the dazzling diversity of suites for harpsichord by Couperin, who was a premier musician in Paris until his early death in 1661. The programme also features works by Jean-Henry D’Anglebert and Ennemond Gaultier.
