For this edition of Sounds of…, Moe is joined by Dr. Daniel Uribe, a Colombian born paediatrician, record collector, and DJ based in Berlin. Together, they will journey through Colombia’s rich musical landscape, exploring how regional identities, social inequalities, and the country’s political history shaped its music from the 1950s to the 1980s. Through a carefully selected collection of records, the session traces the evolution of Colombia’s diverse musical traditions, revealing the stories, communities, and historical moments behind the sounds that continue to resonate far beyond its borders.
