An underground, nostalgic electronic night.
An deep appreciation and listening session of the artists and works released via the British label, Warp Records. Warp is a pioneering independent British record label, founded in Sheffield in 1989, notable for discovering some of the more enduring artists in electronic music. Founded by the late Rob Michell and Steve Beckett after years of managing the FON record shop, alongside record producer Robert Gordon. Warp are responsible to the rise of many legendary figures in the electronic music world such as Aphex Twin, Autechre, Boards of Canada, Broadcast, Clark, Squarepusher and Plaid. The label continues to expand it's horizons by working closely with artists outside the world of Electronica. Signing experimental acts that are often noticed for pushing musical boundaries. *not officially affiliated with WARP*
