Next to frequently organizing club nights, listening sessions, lectures & talks in Doka, the Amsterdam-based collective Steppin’ Into Tomorrow will also curate upcoming and underrepresented names from Dutch soil for a series of Canvas nights. Sashay is a multi-disciplinary artist and organizer based in Utrecht, active as a house dancer, teacher and DJ. With a background deeply rooted in various dance styles, she has expanded her passion into DJing. Her eclectic sets span a wide range of genres, from Soul to Techno and everything in between. Recently, she has been inspired by the vibrant sounds of Latin House, Cuban Jazz, and Soul, creating an exciting mix of grooves. Senra is a cosmic wanderer on a mission to restore the universe’s lost rhythm. His destiny? Gathering the jazziest beats, the funkiest rhythms, and the most enchanting melodies from across the stars.
