Mingus Dynasty celebrates the music of iconic composer and bassist Charles Mingus. Formed in 1979 by Sue Mingus alongside his longtime collaborators, the ensemble continues to explore Mingus's extensive catalog through contemporary arrangements and dynamic bandstand performances. This performance marks the record release celebration for the rerelease of Mingus' Town Hall Concert 1964 on Candid Records.
