Jam Session

Like every Tuesday, we continue with the 95th installment of our Jam Session series! Starting at 20.00 and ending at 23.30. Free entry, as always. → About this week’s Jam Session poster: On November 11th, 1572, Tycho Brahe observed what what is now known as the SN1572 supernova or "Tycho's Star" in the constellation Cassiopeia. Nowadays only a remnant remains, but back then it was the brightest object in the sky for more than 1 year. Among the things it inspired were the supernova mentioned in Hamlet, Bernardo in Act I, Scene i. Poe's poem "Al Aaraaf" uses it as a setting for a place between Heaven and Hell. It is also mentioned in Arthur C. Clarke's short story "The Star", which we definitely recommend reading. → About the Echoes × The Conclave Jam Sessions: This a celebration of the uniting power of music, a regular gathering of musicians and aficionados. We’ll have a good ol’ fashioned jam session with some experimentation and tons of good vibes. There are *RULES* though. In order to make sure everyone gets a shot at the stage, you should register on the waiting list and everyone gets a 15 min. slot. We provide the backline, drums and cables.
