Will Sheff has established a reputation as a preeminent songwriter through ten albums as the frontman of the indie rock band Okkervil River. Having toured the world and earned fans such as Lou Reed and Barack Obama, Sheff released his acclaimed debut solo album 'Nothing Special' in 2022. Paraphrased as an ambitious thinker in the indie rock scene, his work is noted for its poetic glow and hymnal gravity. His follow-up project, Extra Mile, continues this patient and musical exploration. Featuring collaborations with musicians from Dawes, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Antlers, the album delves into the experience of being a soul in a body.
