An underground, gritty experimental rock night.
Beirut sensation SANAM delivers a fiery mix of krautrock, electronics, avant-jazz, and poetry. Their performance blends heavy instrumentation with Arabic vocals and poetry, drawing from Egyptian folk songs and 12th-century Persian poems. Their recent album, Sametou Sawtan, recorded in Beirut with producer Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, captures a nocturnal mood and reflects on the feeling of distance and the changing landscape of Lebanon. The band has previously performed at acclaimed festivals like Le Guess Who? and Rewire.

The performance happens on October 18, 2026, at BIMHUIS, located at Piet Heinkade 3, 1019 GM Amsterdam.
The group combines avant-jazz, krautrock, and post-punk with Arabic vocal traditions and poetry.
