KestheBand uit Trinidad en Tobago groeide sinds hun oprichting in 2005 van carnavalsfavoriet uit tot ambassadeurs van het Caribische geluid op internationale podia. Onder leiding van Kees Dieffenthaller, beter bekend als Kes, mengen ze moeiteloos soca, calypso, reggae, r&b en pop. Hits als ‘Wotless’, ‘Hello’ en ‘Savannah Grass’ en samenwerkingen met Shaggy, Snoop Dogg, Wizkid en Major Lazer laten zien hoe veelzijdig ze zijn, en hoe ritme, melodie en energie in alles wat ze doen doorstromen. Op het podium is KestheBand één groot Carabisch feest, waar samenzang, ritme en gemeenschapsgevoel centraal staan. Na uitverkochte shows in New York en Toronto en jaarlijkse Carnival-optredens in Trinidad brengen ze dit feestje in mei naar Paradiso.
