Das Wilde Jazzorchester and its director Martin Auer transform the stories of 1001 Nights into jazz fairy tales. In this latest narrative concert, they present their latest work live following their previous programs like "The Canterville Ghost" and "The Jungle Book." As part of the "Jazz & Lyrics" series at the Tischlerei, the BigBand of the Deutsche Oper Berlin presents thematic jazz concerts with members of the BigBand and guests in smaller formations. These concerts merge music with lyric poetry, biographical texts, and background information to create a unique experience. The artistic program is curated by Rüdiger Ruppert and Sebastian Krol.
