An underground art rock night.
My New Band Believe is a project led by Cameron Picton, the bassist and vocalist known for his work with black midi. Drawing inspiration from the hypnotic guitar work of Bert Jansch, the panoramic pop of Judee Sill, and the intensity of dance music, the band crafts a sound that is both all-encompassing and in constant flux. Picton directs the ensemble through tracks that form, scatter, and regroup, merging complex storytelling with passages of controlled chaos.
