CHÓRES & CHORDAE

The CHÓRES female choral ensemble and the CHORDAE chamber choir present a unique concert featuring more than 140 choir members. The multidimensional programme includes choral adaptations of traditional Greek and international melodies alongside new art music arrangements and compositions. The performance showcases an eclectic repertoire of traditional Balkan tunes and original works for equal voices by distinguished Greek and international composers. CHÓRES, an artistic incubator founded by Marina Satti, focuses on cultivating skills in music, dance, and acting while transcending geographical boundaries. The CHORDAE chamber choir, founded in 2024, specializes in art music for equal voices ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works. Together, they offer a fresh contemporary aesthetic that highlights traditional musical material through refined vocal and physical performance.
