Valeria Michel ist eine professionelle Sängerin, die in Ecuador als Tochter einer kubanischen Familie geboren wurde und dafür bekannt ist, lateinamerikanische Einflüsse mit Jazz zu verbinden. Sie studierte an der University of Miami und verfügt über mehr als 27 Jahre internationale Bühnenerfahrung. Nachdem sie viele Jahre in Miami gelebt hat, trat sie weltweit bei großen Festivals und in renommierten Jazzclubs auf, unter anderem in Tokio, Beijing, Lissabon, Singapur, New York City und Berlin. Ihre Debüt-CD wurde für drei Latin Grammy Awards vorgenominiert.
