Hamadi brings a 3 hour nexus of left-field textures, emotional ambient, and sounds rooted in Arabic maqamat. Hamadi intertwines ambient sounds, layered percussion, and distorted textures, creating sets that move between bouncy and introspective. Drawing from his Libyan, Palestinian, and Tunisian background, his selections often combine emotional club music with cross-cultural rhythms. Hamadi curates DAWSHA, a party series in NYC focused on highlighting experimental electronic music from SWANA and its diaspora.
