A homegrown, underground jazz night.
The Jazzèt Music Hall presents "Art of Duo," a special musical collaboration between guitarists Tasos Simeonidis and George Koutsikoulis. The performance is dedicated to the timeless charm of the jazz guitar and the magic of musical conversation. Formed in 2022 following a spontaneous jam session, the duo follows the great tradition of historical guitar pairings like Joe Pass and Herb Ellis. Using inventive arrangements and harmonic depth, the two musicians transform well-known melodies into vibrant new narratives. Their program spans a wide musical range, from American Broadway standards and bebop to selected soul, pop, and funk compositions, all exclusively arranged for two guitars.
