Formed during the COVID-19 lockdown in a Melbourne house studio, Playlunch is a chaotic, genre-blending fusion of retro dance music and late ’90s/early 2000s Australian nostalgia. With a tongue-in-cheek suburban swagger, the band has established its own irreverent musical style, which they call Bogan Funk.
