Beck is the stage name of American singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Beck Hansen, known for his genre-blurring and experimental style. Born in Los Angeles, he emerged in the 1990s with the hit single "Loser" and the album "Mellow Gold," which blended folk and hip-hop. Throughout his career, he has continuously evolved, exploring live-performance styles on "Mutations," upbeat funk on "Midnight Vultures," and soulful acoustics on "Sea Change." His work has earned multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for 2014's "Morning Phase." On this date, he performs at Brooklyn Paramount as part of his Ride Lonesome Tour.
