Amplified Histories: Keileweg’s Playground
An underground, slow-burn sound art night.
Amplified Histories is an experimental sound session exploring stories through handmade speakers and speculative audio objects. The tryout focuses on the spatial history of Rotterdam's Keileweg area, a place with a complex past involving industry and ownership. By transmitting narratives through vibration and various physical surfaces, the installation invites visitors to experience history through touch and unconventional listening. This session serves as a rehearsal for a larger public event and is a collaborative effort by the Hamburger Community '26, a group of artists and cultural workers whose practice emphasizes analog, live, and shared storytelling experiences.
